Dr. Prakash Sharma
Dr. Sharma is Professor and Head of the Physics Department at Tuskegee University. Dr. Sharma has 30 years of undergraduate and 10 years of graduate teaching experiences. Dr. Sharma has received many awards for his education, research and service activities at Tuskegee University. Some examples of these awards are; Gardner Award for Excellence in field of Science in Alabama, Alabama Academy of Science, 1995, Faculty Achievement Award, Tuskegee University (highest Award), 1990-91. Dr. Sharma has more than 75 peer reviewed publications and also the editorial board member of J. Alabama Academy of Sciences. Dr. Sharma’s role in this EVTC proposed study is to be the project’s PI at Tuskegee U. and to help recruit the students, manage the project flow and help connecting Tuskegee University students and the K-12 Tuskegee public school systems for outreach education activities.
