Dr. Ali Raissi
Dr. Raissi possesses a PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He began his career researching hydrogen production using solar energy at the University of Hawaii in the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute. He joined UCF/FSEC in 1987 and is one of UCF's most talented technical authorities. He also has conducted numerous research projects for DOE and DOD. In 2002, he was appointed as the Director of the Advanced Energy Research Division, a position he still holds. Dr. Raissi will participate in all the technical program activities associated with the EVTC.
