Dr. Tatari serves as Wharton Smith Faculty Fellow and is an Assistant Professor in UCF’s Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering teaching courses on sustainable engineering and infrastructure systems analysis. Prior to joining the academic world, Dr. Tatari worked as a senior consultant for Oracle USA, Inc., specializing in holistic analysis and system optimization of construction companies. Currently, he serves as the academic advisor to two postdoctoral research associates, three doctoral and two master students in the Sustainable Systems Analysis Research Group at UCF. Dr. Tatari's research focuses on developing decision support systems to analyze the social, environmental, and economic aspects of engineered systems from a life cycle perspective. He has over 40 scientific publications in the areas of decision modeling for infrastructure systems, environmental life cycle assessment, and economic analysis. Dr. Tatari will lead the project's modeling efforts.
